Looking back, I wish someone had told me when I was younger that I didn't have to conform to being a 'good girl.'

That I could speak up, stand up for myself, set boundaries, express my emotions – even the 'unpleasant' ones like anger or sadness, say “NO”, and prioritize my peace of mind above all else.

Learning this took me 35 years and some tough life lessons. ”NO MORE GOOD GIRL” for me. It's still a challenge to say ”NO”, but I'm getting better at it, protecting my own energy more often. And guess what? The world keeps turning.

I hope my daughters grow up with a different mindset, thanks to their mom who decided to reclaim her true self. Some may see me as bad girl, others as heroic. For me, I'm finally being true to myself.

I couldn't have done it without the support of other amazing women.
